I am a fellow adoptive mom. I so understand the hardship you are going through with your son. We spent many years trying to figure out how to help our kids when the professionals were at a loss. Do some research on Reactive Attachment Disorder and see if it sounds like your son. We got support from thelittleprince.org while we were raising our kids and if it weren't for the other parents there, I don't know that my family would have made it. My heart is with you and your beautiful son.
